Friends are enthusiastic supporters united by a common concern for the well-being of the Vigo County Public Library. Our Friends are devoted to promoting the Library as a cultural, educational, and recreational asset to the community. You'll find membership in the Friends of the Library truly rewarding.

It's Easy to Do!
If you have books or newer magazines which you no longer want, donate them to the Friends' book sales.

• Just bag or box them and take them to one of the VCPL library locations and tell the librarian that they are donations for the Friends of the Library.
• The items will be sent on to the Friends' Volunteers for sorting and pricing.
• a letter for tax purposes is available upon request.

The Friends also accept puzzles and games, video and audio materials, computer software, comic books, out of print, and old/rare/unusual books.

PLEASE, no moldy or badly damaged materials! No items marked Galley Proof, not for sale, or advanced reading copy; no textbooks or encyclopedia sets more than 5 years old.
