Content and Scope of Collection
For many years Frances E. Hughes was a reporter and feature writer for the Terre Haute Star. She also had pieces published in Indianapolis and Louisville, KY newspapers. Hughes covered a wide range of subject matter such as homes, hobbies, festivals, artists, and her articles were always people-centered. The materials are mostly newspaper clippings arranged loosely in broad subject categories. She created a chronological index.
