Content and Scope of Collection

This collection consists of items pertaining to the Wabash River Heritage Corridor (WRHC) and the Wabash River Heritage Corridor Commission (WRHCC).  The WRHCC is part of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

The Wabash River runs 510 miles through 19 Indiana counties including the adjacent “Wabash Valley” counties of Fountain, Knox, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo.
