In May 1988, Greenwood Elementary School closed. It was located at 145 E. Voorhees St., in Terre Haute. Although much of this collection consists of scrapbooks compiled by the Greenwood School PTA, its scope is broader than PTA activities to incorporate school histories as well as photographs of students, faculty and staff. The scrapbooks represent the PTA's publicity record books and contain a variety of material: lists of officers, committee members, programs, newspaper clippings, memorabilia and photographs.
