Content and Scope of Collection

These Indiana War History Records were prepared by the Indiana Historical Commission as a permanent memorial to Indiana soldiers and sailors enrolled in the American and Allied fighting forces during the two World Wars. They are not official governmental records.

This collection represents the Vigo County records, and they vary in completeness. Some give a great deal of information, others very little. They are arranged alphabetically.
