Content and Scope of Collection

This collection contains the records of the Deming Woman's Club from 1927 to 1961 in eight volumes entitled "Journal", "Roll Book", and "Record Book". Each volume contains cumulative lists of officers from the club's formation in 1923 to the final year for each volume; minutes of the clubs biweekly meetings; and yearly attendance records (April to March). With the exception of the first two volumes, reports on the club's treasury appear within the minutes. There is also a small number of news clippings and photographs.
