It started with twenty-one authors, and now encompasses a community of hundreds of thousands of novelists. Ages 9 & Up: Start your own podcast at Haute Studio, a sound booth with the equipment and software you need to create professional-level recordings. In this introductory course, you’ll discuss how to develop ideas for podcasts—from determining a show structure to writing a script—and learn how to use Haute Studio to give your listeners a premiere experience. Everyone will have a chance to practice on the mic and record an on-the-fly podcast with suggested topics. Wrap up your session using PreSonus Studio One 4 to edit clips, add intro and outro music, and include an ad spot.

Ages 5–18: Your child can develop strong life and leadership skills, prevent bullying, and become a positive role model with Girls of Excellence Mentoring. In each session, GEM will encourage girls to examine the complex issues they face through group discussion, bolster their self-esteem, and teach them how to set goals for themselves.
Activities and discussions for ages 5 to 11 will be from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for ages 12 to 18.
