Summer Hours Begin in June
Are You Ready to Dig Into Reading This Summer?
Coming soon to the Vigo County Public Library, Summer Reading Club! This year, our kids will Dig into Reading, while our teens will explore Beneath the Surface. Friends of the Library Booksale
Gently used items for all ages will be available at the Friends of the Library's Annual Book Sale, including: books, magazines, puzzles, games, CDs, DVDs, and more.
Word 2
In Microsoft Word 2010, you will learn text, paragraph and page formatting. You should already be familiar with the skills in Word 1.

Teen Volunteer Information Nights
Teens going into grades 7-12 next fall and interested in volunteering at the library this summer should attend this information session or the one on May 23 with a parent to learn more about VCPL’s Teen Volunteer program and opportunities. Call Young People's Department at 232-1115 for information.
VCPL Chess Club
Learn how to play chess or test your skills in a game with an experienced chess player! The VCPL Chess Club is open to young people of all ages and skill levels. It meets twice a month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. and is led by Justin and Erin McAdams. No registration is required. Call Youth Services for more information at 232-1115. PowerPoint 3
In this class, you will learn animations, embedding, and slideshow features. Please be familiar with the skills in PowerPoint 1 and 2.

Mother Goose on the Loose
Little ones can have fun learning at this exciting program! Parents and children will experience nursery rhyme fun through music, puppets, instruments and more. Please register for the session of your choice by calling 232–1115.

Memorial Day Closing
In honor of Memorial Day, all Vigo County Public Library locations will be closed Sunday, May 26 and Monday, May 27. Regular business hours will resume Tuesday, May 27.
