Summer Hours Begin in June

The Vigo County Public Library's Summer Hours begin next month. The Main Branch will be closed Sundays from Sunday, June 2 until Sunday, September 8th.

Are You Ready to Dig Into Reading This Summer?

Coming soon to the Vigo County Public Library, Summer Reading Club! This year, our kids will Dig into Reading, while our teens will explore Beneath the Surface. Teen Volunteer Information Nights

Teens going into grades 7-12 next fall and interested in volunteering at the library this summer should attend this information session or the one on May 23 with a parent to learn more about VCPL’s Teen Volunteer program and opportunities. VCPL Chess Club
Moving A Chess Piece




Learn how to play chess or test your skills in a game with an experienced chess player! The VCPL Chess Club is open to young people of all ages and skill levels. It meets twice a month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. and is led by Justin and Erin McAdams. No registration is required. Call Youth Services for more information at 232-1115.
