Third, fourth, and fifth graders, learn all about sanding, sawing, drilling, using clamps and hammering with Benchworx. Benchworx is a mobile education program designed to introduce the art of woodworking to children. Participants will create toys and other small woodworking projects in a custom designed trailer fitted with 16 workstations. Registration and a parent permission slip is required.

Purdue Extension is coming to the library and they are bringing blocks. Lots of blocks! Playing with blocks is not only fun it also provides unique opportunities for building positive relationships and increasing early learning and school readiness skills, especially in the areas of math, science, pre-reading, physical and social skills.

All children love to hear a bedtime story before they go to sleep. They will love listening to a drowsy story, music, and activities. Please plan for your child to wear their pajamas to story time and let them fall asleep in the car as you drive home.
