The West Branch Library has lots to offer including:- 7 computers with Internet access, plus WiFi
- Best Sellers in Books and CD Books
- New Books
- A wide variety of DVDs and Music CDs
- CD Books and Playaway books

- A great selection of magazines
- Newspapers
If you come in and don’t find what you are looking for, the staff at West Branch will be happy to put it on hold for you and have it sent from our Main library. A book on the shelf at Main can be here at West in a day. Books not in the VCPL system can also be obtained by using Interlibrary loan. Our mission is to have you leave our branch satisfied and looking forward to your next visit.In addition to materials West Branch also offers Computer and Internet access. We have 7 computers available for Patron use as well as WIFI, so you can bring your laptop and get comfortable in our seating area while using our wireless Internet Access. Printing is available with all 7 public computers.

Dig Into Reading: Free Reading in the Secret Garden
Don't have a Library card? Come to West Branch, sign up for the Summer Reading program, set a reading goal and read our books in the Secret Garden during Silent reading time. Mark your reading progress on reading logs kept at the Library. When you meet your reading goal you get a prize! Reading times 2 days a week. Drop-in from 11am to 1pm. Ages 7 to 14 years. Snacks after the program.
Dig Into Read-Aloud with Mrs. Schlup
Enjoy exciting reading adventures read by retired Vigo County School teacher, Janice Schlup (Swickard). This reading time counts toward your Summer Reading goal at West Branch. Prizes! and snacks afterward. Ages 5 and up welcome.
Dig Into Storytime
Dig into books and activities just for little ones. Books read will count toward Summer Reading Program goals at West Branch. Snacks afterward. Snacks afterward. Ages 3 and up.
Dig Into Science

Dig Into the Internet: Internet Scavenger Hunt
Compete with other kids to find all the items on our Internet Scavenger Hunt. We will allow up to 3 kids per computer so you can bring your friends and work together. Prizes! Snacks! afterward. Limited to 21 kids. Ages 7 to 14 years.
Dig Into Growing
Start your own plants using different "fun" items. Watch them grow. Help to beautify the Library with flowers. Growing fun for kids ages 5 to 14 years. Snacks afterward.
