Due to a planned retirement, Vigo County Public Library is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Administrative Team. Does this describe you?
• You’re experienced in overseeing multiple facets of organizational operations with a talent for translating system wide strategies into operational planning and actionable goals.
• As someone with a background in financial management you are committed to fiscal analysis and planning, attention to detail, and organizational and personal accountability.
• You exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to actively listen, demonstrate patience and compassion, and effectively navigate difficult customer situations.
• You have a great sense of situational awareness with a passion for helping people.
• Of course, you’re organized, efficient, and detail oriented.
• Even though you may not know how to install an HVAC system, when it comes to facilities management, you are not at all intimidated by the prospect of assisting with the evaluation of mechanical and or maintenance issues and offering guidance.

Tech Team Assistant: Part-Time

The Vigo County Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic individual with customer service experience to provide computer and technology assistance to library customers in the part-time non-exempt position of Tech Team Assistant. This job offers 20-25 hours per week in the Tech Team Department of the Main Library and the schedule includes primarily evening and weekend hours. The Tech Team Assistant is responsible for providing a quality service experience to customers using library computing and technology resources, Haute Create, printing and copying services, and library collaborative spaces.
