Here are five original typewritten letters from Lowney T. (Mrs. Harry E.) Handy of Robinson, Illinois and Fort Myers, Florida to TERRE HAUTE STAR feature writer. Frances E. Hughes. Handy, who established the Marshall Art Colony in Marshall, Illinois in 1950, is best known for the success of protégé James Jones, author of bestseller From Here to Eternity and other works of fiction.
