Work alongside other like-minded makers and creators, access Haute Create’s array of innovative technology, and receive assistance from Vigo County Public Library’s Tech Team when you need it at the Haute Create Cosplay Co-Op. Every month, the Cosplay Co-Op will allow you to get hands-on with 3D printers, a laser cutter, sewing machines, and more! Please bring your own materials for your costume.

Ages 12-19: Design a pixel-style ornament with Perler Beads! Use a pegboard to arrange colorful beads into a decorative shape and heat them up with an iron. The beads will melt into a solid piece of plastic you can hang on your tree or in a window. Choose a pre-existing pattern or create your own design!

Ages 13 & Up: Make your own repairs to clothing, create customized gifts, and save money with Sew Simple. Perfect for beginning or inexperienced sewers, Sew Simple will introduce you to the sewing machines available in Haute Create and teach you how to set up a machine for use. As part of the class, you will be able to create your own coin purse to attach to a backpack or lanyard.

Ages 5–18: Your child can develop strong life and leadership skills, prevent bullying, and become a positive role model with Girls of Excellence Mentoring. In each session, GEM will encourage girls to examine the complex issues they face through group discussion, bolster their self-esteem, and teach them how to set goals for themselves.
Activities and discussions for ages 5 to 11 will be from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for ages 12 to 18.

Ages 5–18: Your child can learn how to be a leader through activities and discussions with Gentlemen of Tomorrow, an interactive mentoring program that provides boys and young men with the skills they will need to become responsible community stakeholders and recognize and prevent bullying.
Activities and discussions for ages 5 to 11 will be from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for ages 12 to 18.

In Intro to Soldering, you will pick up this valuable skill and learn how to use the Haute Create soldering stations safely by making your own DIY synthesizer. Customers who wish to use the Haute Create soldering stations independently must complete this class.
