All of our storytimes incorporate elements of reading, writing, talking, singing and playing demonstrating early literacy activities that you can do at home. Fit for ages 18 - 36 months!

Become a role model in your circle of influence.  Together with Tante Robinson, Founder & Director of "Girls of Excellence Mentoring", girls will discuss topics such as self-esteem, bullying, making the right choices and some mature themes such as hunger, abuse, pregnancy and sexual violence.  Learn to make the right choices, connect with your peers and play games that encourage integrity and respect.

Preschoolers from ages 3 - 5 years and their caregivers interact with engaging books, songs, and body movement while building early literacy skills. Children will enjoy 30 minutes of storytime followed by free play. All storytimes incorporate reading, writing, talking, singing and playing activities that you can do at home to get children ready for Kindergarten!

Creative Leaders - Terre Haute Rocks

Hear from a local leader in art, creativity and community.  One of the creators of Terre Haute Rocks will share the highlights of how and why this project was started.  Each session will include rock painting of your own and the opportunity to hide rocks to brighten someone's day.  Guidelines of participation in the Terre Haute Rocks project will be explained.  After this program ends, you can take the lead and continue giving throughout the community.

Advanced 3D Printing

Ages 12 & Up: Take your 3D printing to the next level at this demonstration of the Raise 3D N2 with its dual extrusion, large heated build plate and the ability to use different types of filament including metallic and wood composites. Intro to 3D Printing must be taken prior to this class.

Books Before Bedtime

Families and caregivers with children ages 0 - 5 interact with engaging books, songs, lap bounces, and fingerplays as the children build their early literacy skills. There will be 30 minutes of storytime followed by free play. All of our storytimes incorporate elements of Singing, Reading, Writing, Talking and Playing, demonstrating early literacy activities that you can do at home!

Tiny Tot Time

Babies and their caregivers participate in this first group experience while enjoying books, rhymes, songs, and fingerplays. Children will enjoy 20 minutes of storytime followed by social time and free play. All storytimes incorporate elements of reading, writing, talking, singing and playing demonstrating activities that you can do at home. Perfect for ages newborn to 18 months!
